The library's got guests from abroad

The library's got guests from abroad. They were the participants of the international scientific conference “Literature – culture – civil society: the influence of the House of Habsburg on the education in Bukowina and other neighboring regions between 1848 and 1940”, which took part on the 16-20th of October in the Chernivtsi National University.

The guests came to the library due to the help of Dr. Markus Winkler from München, Prof. Petro Rykhlo from Chernivtsi and Dr. Kurt Scharr from Innsbruck.

 

The longest time the guests spent in the library was that in the writer Peter Demant's room. Kurt Scharr was talking there about Demant as he had got acquainted Chetnivtsi people with the writer and his collection of books.
